In Serbian villages, neighbors come together at harvest time to lend a hand picking grapes (and other produce). Here, villagers harvest a half acre of mixed grape varieties to make a local sweet wine. Due to years of economic depression, there is little money available in the countryside to maintain or upgrade property and farming operations, so people improvise and cooperate where they can.
